Pasta with purple sprouting broccoli is a very tasty way to eat this vegetable. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a simple dinner. Boost the flavours of your pasta sauce with capers and anchovies!

I cook this pasta sauce very often. It takes only five minutes to prepare the ingredients and, when the sauce is ready, the flavours are deliciously intense. Last Sunday I served this dish to four very hungry young pirates….my kids and their friends! and I was pleased to see how much they enjoyed the sauce. I didn’t use chilli and parsley for the kid’s friendly version of the sauce, but I sprinkled plenty of parmesan cheese on top. Continue reading

There is cabbage in my pasta sauce!

Winter vegetables such as cabbages are very often present on my table as a side dish. Today, I have tried to add my favourite cabbage leafs (greens and cavolo nero) to my pasta. The experiment has been quite successful and my family has enjoyed the sauce. Continue reading
